Agape Care Services offers a variety of respite services, including emergency crisis respite, respite for young minds, breakaway vacation support, hub-based relief, and short-term respite—all designed to support child protection efforts and the Department of Communities’ initiatives.

Agape Care Services provides day and overnight respite services tailored for school-aged children during vacation periods. Our hub-based relief services offer adaptable solutions for children up to 16 years of age in the local community, supporting child protection efforts.

Our tailored respite options for children, focus not only on academic skills but also on emotional well-being, encouraging participation, and providing essential support for thriving in mainstream care and educational settings.

At Agape Care Services, we go beyond basic care by equipping our clients with practical skills that empower them to navigate adulthood successfully. Our staff is dedicated to providing life skills training, including financial literacy, job readiness, and independent living skills. We believe that empowering individuals with these skills is essential for their overall development and future independence.

Our staff members are highly trained and equipped with the knowledge and skills to recognize the signs of trauma in children and respond compassionately. We understand the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people who may have experienced trauma.

Our team at Agape Care Services is more than just a group of individuals, we are a Trauma-informed 24/7 Care Team. We provide support tailored to specific Care and Cultural Plans.

Our team includes a Care Services Manager, Nurse, and Social Worker, available on-call to ensure comprehensive care. In addition, we cover essential needs such as food, utilities, and outing activities, including transportation, to create a well-rounded and supportive environment for those in our care.

Meet our Executive Team.

Abigail Munyorobi (Registered General Nurse).

Abigail Munyorobi, our esteemed Director, brings a wealth of experience as a Registered General Nurse with 20 years of expertise. 

Her extensive background uniquely positions her to lead our Out-of-Home Care initiatives, ensuring a level of clinical insight and compassionate leadership that significantly enhances the overall well-being and care of those under our guardianship.

  • 11 years working with Children at Perth Children’s Hospital.
  • 3 years experience as Operations Manager at Garnet Ability Services (NDIS Provider)
  • Community Nursing
  • Network with stakeholders, funders, families, and clients and a strong team player with great advocacy and conflict management skills.
  • Participated in organizational planning, strategizing and implementing planned programs, including behavioural management, Critical incident management & OSH issues. This includes budgetary, financial, data & property maintenance management.
  • Advocating on behalf of vulnerable people and their families and carers.
  • Good engagement skills to develop a positive working relationship with clients.
  • Competent in Initial assessments and core assessments of complex needs including Mental Health assessment.
  • Experienced In Planning and participation in children’s activities including trauma counselling based on Respectful Engagement, Anger Management, Grief, and Loss based on the Four Seasons of Growth.

Emilia Muponda (Senior Youth Worker).

Emilia Muponda, Senior Youth Worker, holds a Bachelor of Community Services and boasts extensive experience in providing unwavering support to Indigenous young people.

  • Consults with services and departments to ensure realistic positive outcomes
  • Highly experienced in trauma-informed care and a Therapeutic Crisis Intervention approach

  • Highly skilled in developing and supporting clients in independent living skills
  • Client advocacy through written and verbal communication with relevant services
  • Works with young people with challenging behaviours and complex issues
